XPDay and Buying a Beer
So XPDay is nearly upon us. Well worth going to if only for the social events on Monday and Tuesday! As per my previous blog entries I am a fan of the social event as a useful practice. If you study the programme closely you will notice that Finetix is sponsoring the drinks on Monday night - clearly I've managed to convince others of my view :-)
If you're going to XPDay please do come along, have a drink and start a discussion or argument of your choice. Myself and several of my colleagues including Matt Davey and Damian Guy will hopefully be coming along. So you've got time to prepare your attack....

Sounds like a great night out, maybe I could buy you a drink? Damian and Matt sound cool too: are they extreme?
Damian is definitely and eXtreme type, and Matt is a qualified ScrumMaster though I can't comment on his eXtremeness.
And I am always open to being bought drink. Almost sounds like "I will work for food"...
Social events on Monday AND Tuesday? All I can see on Tuesday is get together at geek club (aka eXtreme Tuesday Club). You gotta do better than that!
Geeks socialise, too, you know?
Maybe you need to embrace alternative lifestyles a little more and try hanging out in a geek-bar?
What are you afraid of? You might like geeks? Afraid what having a geek buy you a beer might lead to?
